The Iranian People and Their New Found Relationship with the United States

It is with great pleasure that the Iranian American Society of New York, Inc. announce a new day in the Iran/US relationship which will undoubtedly help both nations in moving forward in the direction of peace and prosperity for their respective people. This historic day has provided for these two great nations to engage in a dialogue and discourse in order to avoid war and respect the welfare of people across the globe. We anticipate and hope that the stigma related to our people for the last 36 years shall be something of the past. Iran and the Persian people have cultivated a strong and rich culture over the last 3,000 years and we are very excited for the day that our country and its people are no longer demonized by the past. Today we can finally hope for a better future for generations to come.
